Almost €10 million will be invested over the next three years for the construction of a dedicated building.

Banque des Territoires * and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY HOSTING SAS have signed financing contracts with the French Development Agency (AFD) and Crédit Agricole Mutuel de La Réunion (CAMR) for the construction of the first data center in Mayotte. This equipment will be particularly structuring for the development and the digital sector of the island. Almost €10 million will be invested over the next three years for the construction of a dedicated building. AFD and Crédit Agricole Mutuel de la Réunion et de Mayotte are contributing a total of €7.5 million in the form of long-term loans and ERDF bridging loans. The ITH Datacenter project consists of the construction and operation of a real estate and furniture complex intended to offer a rental or colocation offer of racks for a total power of 420 kW, for 76 computer racks including 2 private suites of 8 bays each. and an office area intended to be leased to third parties. ITH will be the first TIER III type data center in Mayotte as defined by the Uptime Institute. Located in Mamoudzou on elevated terrain, to limit its exposure to seismic and climatic risks (very important in the French department), it will be connected to the landing sites of international submarine cables. The datacenter will be located in the main economic zone of the island, near the Mayotte hospital center and public administrations. Banque des Territoires became a minority shareholder of SAS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY HOSTING on October 19, 2020 and holds nearly 44% of the share capital and voting rights of the company, alongside Feyçoil Mouhou ssoune, instigator of the project. In accordance with the Banque des Territoires investment principles in digital infrastructure, this neutral and open data center meets all the characteristics of sovereignty, through its design, operation and shareholding.
