Despite the health situation, the Kaz’Out Musik Festival 2020, seventh edition, was well held in the grounds of the Sugar Adventure museum in Pamplemousses on November 7.

In addition to the Covid, the sinking of the Wakashio was still remembered and actions were taken on this occasion. Among the 2,000 festival-goers, 351 people made a donation through the purchase of their ticket to help families in the south east of the island, impacted by the sinking of the Wakashio last August.

In addition, the Conscious Crew team was able to separate plastic, cans and organic waste and collect them the day after the festival. The Foodwise Mauritius team was also there to raise awareness about food waste.
